Happy Birthday, James Stewart!

Today I watched The Philadelphia Story (1940) for the first time and was reminded of my unconditional love for Jimmy Stewart. I have always enjoyed his films, especially in Alfred Hitchcock’s films Rope, Rear Window, The Man Who Knew Too Much and Vertigo, as well as his divine role in It’s a Wonderful Life, and I know these films are still universally enjoyed. His work is timeless and his voice is so distinct that one could recognize it with eyes closed. Not only was he an A-List actor, but he was a veteran of both WWII and Vietnam. Here is to you, Jimmy. May the world be forever influenced and inspired by your genuine persona.
