After years of creating substantial films that were met with great enthusiasm and twitching anticipation (hello, The Godfather or Apocalypse Now?), he has slowed down his blockbuster output for more individually inspired and strongly personal projects. Take his new film, Twixt, which will be shown at this years Toronto International Film Festival. It is a dark film based on a nightmare that Coppola had and the visuals can maybe be interpreted as a little Tim Burton-ish. None the less, I am eager to see what Coppola has in store for his universal admirer’s and I hope he makes an appearance at the premier! Check out the trailer below!
