Happy Birthday, Cinema!

Happy Birthday, Cinema!

Today I am thankful for…

Auguste and Louis Lumière!

Though they believed that the cinema had no potential and would soon fade, their private film screening in Paris, France 1895 was the beginning of the greatest art form ever created (in my humble yet biased opinion).

The world should be grateful for the initial bricks they paved because they have led to the creation of a long and beautiful road that has united people around the world, equalizing social classes and proving that art is truly a necessity of life. Please, imagine what our world would be like without movies…exactly.
